There are reports that Pakistan's 'superstar' actress Mahira Khan will soon appear on screen as the first female lieutenant general of the Pakistan Army, Nigar Johar.
Mahira Khan has also acted in some projects prepared by the Pakistan Army Public Relations Department (ISPR) in the past but now news is circulating on social media that she will also be seen acting in a telefilm. Numerous social media pages are saying that soon Mahira Khan will be seen playing the role of Lt. Gen. Nigar Johar, the first woman in the Pakistan Army, in a telefilm made in collaboration with ISPR.

According to the viral posts, the shooting of the telefilm is going on at the Army Medical College in Rawalpindi and Mahira Khan is also a part of it. According to reports, actress Mahira Khan will be seen in the role of the first woman lieutenant general of the Pakistan Army in a telefilm titled 'Nigar Johar Khan'.
However, several social media pages and showbiz websites have claimed that Mahira Khan will soon be seen as a female military officer in an ISPR-backed telefilm. However, no authoritative source has been cited in this regard and neither the ISPR nor the actress has yet commented on it.

The news started circulating when make-up artist Umair Waqar shared a short video of Mahira Khan 3 days ago, in which Mahira Khan was shown in a pilot's dress. In the short video shared by Umair Waqar, although Mahira Khan can be seen in a pilot's costume and acting between warships and vehicles, but the video does not make it clear that he is a scene from a telefilm or drama. ۔
Apparently, the video suggests that the actress's video is part of an advertisement or a campaign, but it is too early to say anything about it. Umair Waqar, while sharing the video of Mahira Khan, wrote that he is working on a project with the actress, which will be directed by actor Adnan Malik.

However, he did not specify what kind of project he is working on with Mahira Khan and Adnan Malik, but speculation is rife that he is sharing a video based on a military pilot with the actress. Will appear as the first female officer. It may be recalled that Nigar Johar Khan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General in the Pakistan Army in June last year, before which she was serving as a Major General.

She became the first female military officer to hold the post. She was promoted to the rank of Surgeon General of the Pakistan Army in June 2020. Lt. Gen. Nigar Johar is a graduate of the Army Medical College and has extensive experience in leading the administration and various affairs in his nearly three-decade career in the Pakistan Army.
She was also awarded the Imtiaz Military Medal and the Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal by the Prime Minister of Pakistan for her outstanding services to the Army Medical Corps.
