The Turkish government has appointed popular Pakistani actor Imran Abbas as a goodwill ambassador. Actor Imran Abbas made the announcement in a post shared on Facebook's photo-sharing app Instagram.
Imran Abbas wrote in his post that "it is an honor for him to be selected as a Goodwill Ambassador to Pakistan by the Turkish Government and his Ministry of Religious Affairs (Honesty)."

"This week, he visited Tanzania and several African countries with famous Turkish actors," he added. Imran Abbas said that during his visit to these countries, people were provided with water, food, education and other necessities of life. Actor Imran Abbas said that thousands of Holy Quran were given to Muslims as gifts on this occasion.
