I make a film out of tradition so that the public can get a message
KARACHI: Well-known actor and filmmaker Sarmad Khoosat says that I am not a Tiktoker but a filmmaker and I want to convey the message through my films.
In an interview to a website, Sarmad Khoosat said that people are focusing all their attention on commercial films nowadays, I do not disagree with such films but not every film is a comedy. You can't always say that when people are not wanting to see a movie on another subject, we cannot make a film on it, nor can you say that adding such a subject makes the film complicated. Or get bored.
"I am convinced that we too have some social responsibilities. If our voices are heard, we will continue to raise our voice against these problems, so I do not want to do the traditional work," Sarmad Khoosat said. If that were the case then I would have been making the talk videos, but the fact is that I am not the creator of the talk videos, I am a filmmaker and want to convey something unique and unique through my films.
It is important to note that these days several leading personalities including Saba Qamar and Sania Saeed are playing a leading role in the film 'Kamli' directed by Sarmad Khoosat. The film, made under the banner of the Khoosat movie, will be decorated in cinemas on Eid-ul-Fitr in 2020.
