Hollywood Actress Naya Rivera Missing in Lake, Fear of Death

Leading Hollywood actress Naya Rivera, went missing on July 8 while walking in a lake near Los Angeles, California. According to Reuters, Naya Rivera arrived in the afternoon of July 8 with her 4-year-old son to visit Lake Peru, 45 miles from Los Angeles. The news agency quoted local broadcasters and rescue officials as saying that the actress had rented a boat to go for a walk on the lake and she had gone for a walk with her son. Authorities said another boat passed by the actress boat, which reported the presence of a lonely child on the boat, and a rescue operation was launched.

The actress's child told rescue officials that her mother had gone down to bathe in the lake, but did not return. Authorities confirmed that a life-saving jacket given to the actress was also found on the rented boat, indicating that she went into the water without the jacket or accidentally fell. Authorities launched a rescue operation on the afternoon of July 8, but the operation was halted at night and resumed on the morning of July 9. Rescue officials have expressed concern that the actress may have died, Sky News reported, citing authorities. According to the authorities, despite the passage of 24 hours of the rescue operation, the actress could not be found in the deep water, due to which it is estimated that she may have died, however, before saying anything in this regard.
