Bold Outfit Shooting: Dubai Police Arrest Urfi Javed

Controversial Urfi Javed, an Indian actress and model who has been criticised for her bold fashion choices, was arrested in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) while shooting a semi-naked performance.

Urfi Javed, a Muslim born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, rose to popularity after appearing on the first season of the contentious reality show Bigg Boss.

Urfi Javed has played in a dozen or so TV dramas and a handful of web shows, but she is most popular as an active presence on social media.

Many people have criticised Urfi Javed's clothing line and said that his designs go against Indian culture.

Protests erupted all over India as she performed an old Bollywood song, "Haye Haye Yeh Majboori," while dressed provocatively two months ago in October. 

However, she has been arrested for shooting in a public location while partially clothed in Dubai.

In this regard, 'Hindustan Times' reported that, contrary to popular belief, Urfi Javed was not arrested for his semi-naked appearance but rather for his indecent behaviour in public.

According to the report, Urfi Javed was arrested for allegedly wearing semi-nude or indecent clothes.

The story claims that Urfi Javed was arrested and questioned by Dubai police for several hours and that he will be prevented from immediately returning to India.

Only a week ago, Urfi Javed travelled to Dubai to participate in a shoot, and while there, she shared daring outfit photos and videos on Instagram.

According to rumours circulating online, the Dubai Police want to hold Urfi Javed in custody for a few days before releasing him once they have finished investigating his time in the city.
