Hadiqa Kiani Pays Tribute to 'Ertugrul Ghazi' in Turkish

Leading Pakistani singer Hadiqa Kiani has paid tribute to the drama by releasing a song in Turkish in view of the popularity of the Turkish drama 'Ertugrul Ghazi' aired on Pakistan Television (PTV). Hadiqa Kiani's ancestors came from the Turkish city of Izmir and have had a special attachment to Turkey and Turkish culture since childhood.

Hadiqa Kiani has also represented a delegation of Pakistani children at the International Children's Festival in Turkey, and in 2005 she sang for the first time in Turkish while representing Pakistan at the Ataturk Cultural Center Opera Theater, which was much appreciated.

Hadiqa Kiani has redesigned a Turkish-language song sung in her youth a decade and a half ago, paying tribute to the Turkish drama "Ertugrul Ghazi" and Turkish singer Sezen Aksu. Hadiqa Kiani's song sung in the Turkish language is being appreciated not only in Turkey but also in Pakistan and the singer is being praised.

The singer shared a video of the song on social media and said that she had sung the song for the first time in 2005 but now she is re-arranging it in view of the fame of 'Ertugrul Ghazi'. He wrote that by rearranging the song, he has paid tribute to 'Ertugrul Ghazi', Turkish singer Sezen Aksu and the people of Turkey, which also shows the love of Pakistan and its people for Turkey.

Hadiqa Kiani's song has been viewed by around one lakh people on YouTube while the song is being praised on social media. The video of the song shows the Urdu translation of the play Ertugrul Ghazi.
