Funeral prayers of Omar Sharif will be offered by Mufti Taqi Usmani, Golden Ghazal

Mufti Taqi Usmani, deputy superintendent of Darul Uloom Korangi University and a distinguished religious expert, would offer Omar Sharif's burial prayers, according to Zarin Ghazal, the third wife of Pakistan's legendary comedian and actor Omar Sharif.

Following Omar Sharif's death on October 2 in Germany, his widow Zarin Ghazal released a statement on social media. Zarin Ghazal thanked his supporters from Pakistan, India, and throughout the world for their prayers for Omar Sharif's recovery in a video statement.

Zarin Ghazal reminded Omar Sharif's followers that Omar got to this point because of his prayers, and that he still needs their prayers. May Allah make his journey easier. He also thanked Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Government of Sindh in a video statement, saying that they assisted us a lot through difficult times.

Dr. Tariq Shehab, a cardiologist, was also congratulated by Zarin Ghazal for finishing the treatment arrangements before Omar Sharif arrived at the US hospital. "Omar wished to be buried in Abdullah Shah Ghazi's compound," he continued. "You're all aware that he trusted religious leaders."

"I express my gratitude to the Sindh government for granting his wish," Ghazin added. He went on to say that he had asked Maulana Taqi Usmani to lead Omar Sharif's burial prayers, which he had accepted. Omar Sharif, the legendary comedian and actor, died on October 2 at a European hospital in Germany. After becoming ill while being brought to the United States from Karachi, he was taken to a German hospital.

Omar Sharif's son told the media that his father wished to be buried in Abdullah Shah Ghazi's mausoleum, hence we are requesting that the Sindh government allow burial on the mausoleum grounds. The Sindh government agreed to the famous comedian's burial in the shrine when the family requested it. Omar Sharif's family, on the other hand, has not stated when he will be laid to rest.

Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab, on the other hand, has stated that the Shaheed Millat Underpass will be named after the late actor and comedian Omar Sharif in honour of his contributions.
