Bollywood actresses arrested for 'prostitution' business. Amrita Dhanoa, the actress who starred in a few Bollywood films and recently appeared on India's controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss 13', was arrested by police on charges of prostitution.
Police in Mumbai, the capital of the Indian state of Maharashtra, have arrested Amrita Dhanoa and Amrita Model Richa Singh for running a prostitution business.
Amrita Dhanoa recently appeared on the controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss 13' and gained a lot of fame as she disputed with other colleagues.
In the past, Amrita Dhanoa has also appeared in a few Bollywood films while she has been modelling in fashion shows, including Kate Walking.
Indian newspaper 'India Today' reported that actress Amrita Dhanoa and model Richa Singh were arrested after a raid by a Mumbai police raided a private hotel.
Both actresses and models are accused of supplying young and sophisticated girls to a private hotel for prostitution.
Both are accused of sexually assaulting young and college girls with various kinds of a lure.
According to the report, a Mumbai police officer became a prostitute customer at a private hotel to cover up the sex trafficking business and police arrested the actress and model only after the facility was available.
The two arrested actresses were sued under Article 370 (3) and Sections 4 and 5 of India.
On the other hand, after the arrest, Amrita Dhanoa claimed that she was never involved in any business like prostitution.
This is not the first time that an Indian actress and model has been arrested for being involved in the prostitution business, even before India's Telugu, Tamil, Marathi and Bengali film industry actors were involved in the prostitution business. Has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Indian police also arrested National Award-winning actress Shweta Basu Prasad in 2014 on charges of prostitution, alleging she herself was involved in this malicious business.
Three years ago, in 2017, Mumbai police arrested bold actress and model Sharilyn Chopra for allegedly sexually harassing people online for money.
Similarly, in the past, Indian police have arrested other film industry celebrities and emerging actors, including Telugu, Tamil, Marathi and Bengali film industry, for allegedly doing prostitution business.
