And now with reference to the popular Indian drama 'CID', there are reports that an epidemic like the coronavirus was predicted in this drama.

According to the Indian broadcaster Hindustan Times, an episode of the TV series CID also showed an epidemic similar to the coronavirus, and the episode was titled 'The Case of Deadly Virus' which aired in 2013.

CID lead actor Shivaji Satam, who was to play the role of ACP Perduman in the series, said in the episode, "For me, the most memorable of all CID episodes was The Case of Deadly Virus.
