Similarly, the British newspaper Eastern Eye has also released a list of 50 popular showbiz personalities in the continent of Asia in the year 2020. Four Pakistanis have also made it to the list of these 50 Asian personalities. Eastern Eye has included in this first list of its kind the 50 people of the year 2020 who have had a positive impact on people.
This list includes people from Showbiz who have done well, broken boundaries, given hope, played philanthropy, or influenced others in their own unique way. The four Pakistanis that Eastern Eye has added to the list include actress Sarwat Gilani, actor Bilal Abbas Khan, actor and singer Ali Zafar, and director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.
Actress Sarwat Gilani is ranked 21st in the list, having played the lead role in the cast of the web series Witchcraft this year. The series 'Sparrows' proved to be different from the existing content and left its mark. By acting in this series, Sarwat Gilani opened the doors of a new era of TV content in Pakistan.

Actor Bilal Abbas Khan is ranked 28th in the list of 50 most popular artists in Asia. Bilal Abbas Khan reached the heights of his career very fast in the year 2020. He started the year with the private channel Hum TV drama 'Pyar Ke Sadqay' and later in the year he appeared in the lead role in Zee Five's web series 'Ek Jhoothi Love Story'.

Famous Pakistani singer and actor Ali Zafar is ranked 39th on the list. Regarding Ali Zafar, Eastern Eye wrote that Pakistani singer, actor, musician, and philanthropist gave a better anthem to Pakistan Cricket League.
