Bollywood actresses Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, the birth of daughter, along with showbiz personalities, have congratulated them and prayed for the long life and recovery of the newborn girl.
Alia Bhatt said in her Instagram post on November 6 that a daughter was born to her.
Sharing a picture of a lion, a tigress and their cub in the post, she expressed happiness that a daughter was born to her.
While thanking her daughter's birth, she thanked the fans for their good wishes.

After Alia Bhatt's post, several Bollywood and Hollywood personalities congratulated her and wished her well.
In the same regard, "Indian Express" said that Alia Bhatt gave birth to a child in a private hospital in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra.
The report stated that the actress was admitted to the hospital a few hours ago and gave birth to the baby at noon on November 6.

Alia Bhatt was accompanied by her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor and mother, Soni Rizdan, in the hospital. At the same time, fans also reached outside the hospital after the news broke.
The actress is hopeful and expecting her first child in June this year.
After confirming the expected birth of a child, Alia Bhatt was also seen at various events with her husband Ranbir Kapoor, while her first film 'Brahmastra' was also released.
Alia Bhatt also participated in the promotion of her first film during pregnancy.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot in April this year after being in a relationship for many years.
