Yousuf Salahuddin Life:

Yousuf Salahuddin has hosted parties, dinners, and get-togethers at his residence and elsewhere. High-profile personalities from throughout the country are invited as guests. He has introduced the Basant Festival into Youth by organizing various musical, artistic, and poetic gatherings. The show Heritage Revived which was played on PTV personally hosted by Yousuf Salahuddin and he has invited many artists. The Barood Khana Haveli, owned by Yousaf Sallahuddin. Yousuf Salahuddin underlines the importance of understanding one's cultural roots and history.

For the Young generation, Yousuf Salahuddin said that "When we try to learn someone else's culture at any cost we'll never stay the same and we'll never stay an Intelligent person". In the West, all the young generation love cars and clothing". He said that "I feel that our young generation is going away from their identity". He said that there's a lot of things our younger generation needs to know about the culture and history". He said that these are things we need to understand and we need to tell our young generation.

Yousuf Salahuddin is related to television who has translated into a TV program television called Virsa Heritage Revived. He also introduced "Heer Ranjha'', a tale of romance in subcontinent literature. "Heer Ranjha is the most famous love story of the entire Subcontinent and is based in Punjab. It was not a Bollywood style but it was shot naturally like films were made in Pakistan in the 50s. The whole era of the 50s is recreated with this". He also introduced the Basant festival to the Young generation.

Yousuf Salahuddin was given the responsibility of organizing a music show after the Sufi Council was established. He chose to compose the tunes himself for the poetry given to him with the help of legendary singer Fareeda Khanum. Eight new singers were asked to sing the compositions including Fareeha Pervaiz, Abrar ul Haq, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

He released an album with a host of singers after and his program Virsa Heritage Heritage to follow. He is always being an inspiration for everyone and for introducing history and culture into the young generation.

Yousuf Salahuddin Family:

He is a grandson of the renowned poet and literary scholar Allama Iqbal and nephew of Javid Iqbal. His grandfather, Mian Amiruddin, was the first Muslim Lord Mayor of Lahore.

Allama Iqbal was born on 9th November 1877 in Sialkot, Punjab, British India. He is a famous Muslim poet and Philosopher. Allama Iqbal has given the idea of Pakistan. He becomes the national poet of Pakistan. He is also known as the poet of the East. He wrote poetry in Urdu and Persian. His poetry is considered to be complete.

Yousuf Salahuddin is a famous philanthropist and ex-politician. He wants to introduce the young generation to our history and culture.  He feels artists are an asset of any nation and that he has been trying his best to "pay tributes to artists of the subcontinent, whether he is Pakistani or Indian." Yousuf said that "Talent has no boundaries and that's why our artists like "Rahat Fateh Ali Khan" and "Ali Zafar" have been working in India. This proves that we don't have a shortage of talent. Our country is full of talent we need to find.
