Umair Jaswal was born on 20 December 1986 in the city of Multan, Pakistan. Though he is from a strict education-oriented family background that still did not stop him from pursuing his dreams.

He initiated his career from scratch in 2008 by joining the rock band named Qayaas. The struggling star gained recognition and popularity instantly with his first songs ‘Tanha’ and ‘Umeed’.

After his hits, he later joined Coke Studio season 5 with his band in 2012 and performed the song Charkha Nolakha with Atif Aslam. His band released their debut album, Uss Paar, in 2011 with Umair as a lead vocalist. His voice was soo soulful and powerful that his songs ‘Halaak’ and ‘Inquilaab’ were selected to feature in the film Waar which was a huge hit of that time.

Coke studio helped Umair to raise a lot in the music industry, In its season 6, Umair went for solo tracks, He performed the song ‘Khayal’ on the first episode of Coke Studio season 6. Then later on, In Coke Studio season 8 which was considered one of the best seasons of coke studio, Umair performed the song “Sammi Meri Waar” with QB the song was a massive hit and made its own fandom, it which received more than two million views in the minimum of two weeks.

Umair after his singing career opted for acting, he played a role of a captain in Yalgaar, he also made a television debut by appearing in the serial Mor Mahal (2016), playing the lead role of a nawab alongside Meesha Shafi.

Umair Jaswal And Sana Javed Tied The Knot

Singer Umair Jaswal, who rose to fame with the song ‘Sami Meri War’, and Sana Javed, who acted in dramas like ‘Ruswai’, tied the knot.

The two shared photos of themselves in their wedding dress on Instagram and wrote ‘Alhamdulillah’, on which several personalities congratulated the two on their relationship.
