Sanam Marvi was born on 17th April 1986 in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. She is a Pakistani folk and Sufi singer. She is a popular name in the singing field. She has made her name in the industry after facing so many problems.

Sanam Marvi Career:

Sanam is a famous folk singer. She has made her name prominent in the industry by facing so many problems. She is also considered as Abida Parveen in the industry for what she has done in her future.

Sanam Marvi Initial Career:

At the age of 7, Sanam started getting training in singing from her father. She gained classical music training for 2 years and after that, she has started learning from Ustad Fateh Ali Khan.  According to Sanam, Abida Parveen helped her a lot when she was learning music. She also did theater at the start of her career for 2 years.

Sanam Marvi Debut as a Singer:

In 2009, she made a debut on Pakistan Television Corporation at a music program “Virsa Heritage”. Her music debut made it very helpful for her to make her name in the industry. She also participates in Coke Studio.

She made her solo debut in 2010 with a Sufi festival “Jahan e Khusrau”. In 2011, she also got a chance to collaborate with Indian Singer Rekha Bhardwaj.

Sanam Marvi Concerts:

In 2012, she made a debut of live concerts and performed in different parts of the world, along with Ali Zafar and Hadiqa Kiani. A large group of people visits her concerts and enjoys her Sufi songs. She is also considered the finest Sufi Singer.

Sanam Marvi Family:

She belongs to a Sindhi Family. Her father, Faqeer Khan Muhammad, was also a notable Pakistani folk singer who knows Sufi songs. Singing ran in her blood.

Sanam Marvi is a famous folk and Sufi singer. She said that a Musician’s family struggles a lot. The struggles for their family, for their children, for their future. She said that when I perform, I’m not in this world I’m somewhere else; I feel like there is nothing in front of me.

No one is there when I perform. She said that once my father said that “The eldest of the family suffers a lot for their younger ones”. She said that my father suffers a lot for me. She said that I had to work hard for my future and my family suffers a lot.

Sanam Marvi is a famous name in the Sufi and Folk Singing. She has proven that she has a timeless and legendary voice. Marvi is only concerned about one thing and that is music. Sanam Marvi sees herself as the fight of Sufi Tradition.

She said that “My goal is to spread the message of Islam and truth”. She said that my father helps me a lot with Sufi Music. My father is a Sufi singer. My focus is to spread Sufi music all over the world.
