She is a multiple Emmy Award winner; she has hosted two Emmy galas, the Grammy Awards in 1996 and 1997, and was the 79th and 86th Oscars’ emcee. Ellen DeGeneres is the first person in history to present the three fineries. For one season, she served as the jury for the highly-regarded talent show American Idol.

Ellen DeGeneres was born in Metairie (Louisiana). Her parents, Elliot (mother), an insurer (who died in 2018 at the age of 92 years), and Betty DeGeneres (father), a real estate agent, both belonging to Christian Science. She has French, English, German, and Irish heritage.

After the separation of his parents (which took place when she was 15), she leaves New Orleans and moves to Atlanta (Texas), where she lives with his mother and stepfather, Roy Gruessendorf, and graduates in 1976. After a semester at the University of New Orleans, she abandoned her studies. Subsequently, she works as a saleswoman, journalist, house painter, hostess, and bartender.

After her ex-girlfriend’s death, she decides to write a letter to God, in which she asked the reason for that misfortune.
