Behroze Sabzwari Personal Life

Behroze was born into a Kashmiri muslim family, he is the son of a naval officer. He is a senior and versatile actor of the Pakistani showbiz industry who has done many projects for the growth of the industry. He also owns a business of a car showroom in Tariq Road, Karachi. His peak of success took place around the PTV serial era, he became known for his role of playing Qabacha in the drama serial Tanhaiyaan. He married the beautiful Safeena Shiekh in 1986. She is the sister of Pakistani film and television actors Javed Sheikh and Saleem Sheikh. They have only one son, Shahroz Sabzwari who also is also a blooming actor of the industry.

Behroze Sabzwari career

Behroze initiated his career with Radio Pakistan as a radio presenter, after some time he testedhi luck in the world of acting around the late 1970s, his first project was a “live” television children’s play Dadajan Nanajan.

Behroze knew he had to polish and shape his career so he did many stage plays, including Mirza Ghalib Bandar Road Par.  After polishing his career he achieved recognition and appreciation of the viewers through the PTV play Khuda Ki Basti, in 1974 where he played the role of Nausha.

He indeed, is a talented individual who can perform serious, romantic distant and comedy roles with ease, but he is more renowned for his comic roles.

Among his successful TV serials is Tanhaiyaan. It was Qabacha (Qabacha was a Turkic tribe and its leader Nasir ad-Din Qabacha ruled modern Pakistan in 13th century)

Behroze Sabzwari received the Pride of Performance on 23 March 2009 for his dedicated services to the Pakistani television industry
