Arijit Singh was born on 25th April 1987 in Jiagani, Murshidabad district West Bengal, India. He is an Indian playback singer. He sings in Hindi and Bengali films. He also performed in other Indian languages.

Career:
Arijit starts his career from a reality show Fame Gurukul. He got fame from this show. After this, he came to Mumbai after this show, he was singed by Kumar Taurani to record an album for their company. This album was not yet released till 2007. He started freelancing. He won the show “10 Ke 10 le Gaye Dil”.
After this show, Shankar Ehsaan Loy who showed faith in Arijit talent and gave him first break. He sang the song “All For One” from their album High School Musical 2. He also worked with famous composer Pritam and it was he who loved him and gave chance to sing songs. Pritam is the reason behind Arijit’s success that he is now considered one of the most successful singers of India today.
Till 2013, when he finally won the upcoming Male vocalist award at the Mirchi Music Award in 2013. He got this award for his song Dua and was nominated for one more song Tum Hi Ho from Aashiqui 2 that become famous and he has become a famous singer in the country.
After this, he doesn’t look back and move forward movie by the movie with years, he just nailed it and become an international singer and sing songs like “Raabta”, “Kabhi Jo Badal Barse”, “Sooraj Dooba Hain”, “Kabira”, and “Samjhawan” and other songs.
In a very short period, Arijit won all hearts and won almost all singing awards and has made his name in the list of most demanding singers throughout the country. Not only in Hindi, but he has sung a song in various songs in other languages.
